Chapter 1
The room remained dark, with the delicate, tender starlight filtering through the subtle patterns on the sheer window curtains, casting reflections on the carpet. Amy Green sat somewhat nervously on the edge of the large bed, her chestnut curls cascading down onto the bedspread.
The bathroom door creaked softly. Her amber eyes suddenly contracted as she swiftly turned her head to look, only to see a tall figure appearing before her. The bathroom light cast his face in shadow.
Even in such circumstances, Amy still felt an overwhelming sense of aggression from this man. He possessed a natural dominance. She bit her lip, and her breathing became increasingly rapid.
"Scared?" He walked towards her slowly, a robust chest, a narrow waist covered only by a light blue bath towel, and enticing abdominal muscles. Amy swallowed nervously, gently closing her eyes, lacking the courage to look at the man who had become her husband just today.
A slender finger slid across her forehead, down to her eyes, paused for a moment, and continued downward until it stopped on her heaving chest. "Why? Want to have sex with me and still wear clothes?" He spoke again, his voice low and mellow.
Amy's back stiffened, her fingers on the zipper, trembling. It wasn't like undressing; it felt more like feeling a stubborn and hard tree, and her hands were shaking throughout. He raised an eyebrow, casually picked up a soft and white pillow, took out two pieces of paper, and sat down, leisurely folding them.
Amy didn't know what he was going to do, but she struggled to remain calm and continued to wrestle with the buttons. In the room, there was only his low, deep voice, her rapid breathing, and the light rustle of paper folding.
Finally, he finished folding, and to her surprise, it was two paper airplanes! He waved his arm, and the paper airplanes gracefully flew through the air, returning accurately to her feet.
"According to the agreement, if you request a divorce before bearing a child, you'll compensate me with thirty million dollars. I've already married you here as you requested. You should know that if you deceive me, the consequences will be..." He didn't finish his words, but with a sweep of his long fingers, he pointed to one paper airplane as a marriage certificate and the other as an agreement.
Amy lowered her long lashes, laid back on the bed, stretching out her limbs. The girl's body still carried a natural and sweet fragrance that wafted into his nose.
"34C, not bad." He unfastened her white patterned bra, his palm covering, gently squeezing, enjoying the exceptionally good texture. Amy pressed her lips tightly, unable to suppress the trembling. She turned her face away.
From today onwards, she will fulfill her duties as his wife and get what she wants in return... He glanced at her, his palm lifting her long skirt, gently hooking the patterned lace of her white panties, covering them.
"Ah..." She winced in pain, tightening her brows. He was inspecting her with his fingers! Amy felt humiliated! But what could she do? This was her own choice! That long finger, bit by bit, slowly entered, her brows locking, her whole body tense like a string about to snap.
"You're quite tight." Suddenly, he said softly, and his finger moved slightly. Amy opened her eyes, amber pupils filled with anger, grievance, and pain, staring at him, "Don't do this. If you want to, do it quickly."
"Heh, indeed like a wild cat. We have three days to spend here..." His tall figure descended, his palms parting her knees...
Seven days ago.
Amy invested everything she had to buy a ticket to Las Vegas. From the moment the plane took off, she leaned her forehead against the window, staring blankly at the blue sky outside.
The sky was so blue, and the clouds were soft and snowy white! She wanted to pounce on it, lie down, and never get up...
Amy's parents hoped she would live her entire life in a sweet honey!
In reality, before her twentieth birthday, she did live a life as sweet as honey.
But five months ago, her father, Stephen Green, faced financial failure in the investment industry. Stocks and assets turned into negatives, and one night, drunk, he had a car accident. The car was twisted and destroyed, leaving him unrecognizable.
The elegant and beautiful young stepmother, Snow White, immediately disappeared with secret money, jewelry, and her younger sister. It felt like someone had brutally kicked her off the cloud. Neil Klein, her fiancé who had graduated from a prestigious university, suddenly went missing, not answering her calls and nowhere to be found.
Her flight attendant friends discreetly told her that three days ago, Neil took a flight she was working on, heading to Las Vegas with a new love!
